Things to Almost Do: The Joy of Sake

Okay, I haven't been there done that, but The Joy of Sake comes highly recommended.  This is an annual event now held in Honolulu Academy of Arts featuring over 300 sakes for tasting and appetizers from 12 of Honolulu's leading restaurants.  It is pricey, but worth it.

This is the largest sake tasting event outside Japan and has been held annually since 2001.  It's usually held in the summer and the last event was on August 19, 2010.  So next year we might be lucky enough to have it during the week of the wedding.  I'll be sure to check back and update the blog with more information.  To sign up for the Joy of Sake newsletter and events click the link here.

If you want more information check The Joy of Sake.  Hope we get lucky!
